Excel Import

The Excel Import utility enables you to import a properly formatted Microsoft Excel spreadsheet containing information such as time, expense, outlay or debtor data. This feature enables you to transfer your data from another system into Coretime.

Note: WIP and Carry Forward values can be imported.

Contact Sage Support for information on preparing a properly formatted spreadsheet.

  1. Begin by opening the Utilities view in the left-hand pane.
  2. Click Database Utilities in the left-hand pane.
  3. Click Excel Import in the left-hand pane.
  4. The Excel Import screen opens in the right-hand pane. Specify the following information:
  5. Click Submit.

The Excel Import Results window confirms that the import was successful.

Or if there was a problem with the import, it provides you with information about the problem.
